The most expensive Miami estate goes for $150M

Adrienne Arsht, a philanthropist and an American business leader listed her grand Florida estate for $150 million. The most expensive single-family ever listed in Miami-Dade County. The recent record-breaking sold property was in December 2021 for $75 million set on Start Island. The property is just minutes away from Miami’s business center.

Arsht’s property overlooks the beautiful Biscayne Bay. The property holds two homes. One of them, Indian Springs, which was built 20 years ago, the land was formerly owned by Peggy Hopkins. The other is Villa Serena, a Mediterranean-style home constructed for the former Secretary of State William Jennings Bryan in 1913. The combined homes are 25,000 square feet of living space and more than 4 acres of land.

Arsht bought the initial property for $4 million in the late 1990s eventually build the Indian Spring, it’s a five-bedroom home with a dining room that seats 20 people. Meanwhile, Villa Serena was purchased for $12 million in 2007 and spent another 4 years to restore the home.

Arsht plans on donating the proceed of the property sale to charity.
